Sewu Temple
Description
Sewu Temple is a magnificent 8th-century Buddhist temple complex located near Prambanan in Central Java, Indonesia. It is the second-largest Buddhist temple in the region after Borobudur and is part of the Prambanan Temple Complex. Built during the reign of the Medang Kingdom, Sewu Temple reflects the rich cultural and religious harmony of ancient Java, where Hinduism and Buddhism coexisted.
